Anything that works against you can also work for you once you understand the principle of reverse.

Living Life
In Reverse
Living Life In Reverse follows Mara, a woman haunted by the lasting effects of childhood sexual abuse. At thirteen, she was assaulted by her mother's boyfriend, a wound that follows her into adulthood as insomnia, migraines, nightmares, and a quiet emotional unraveling.
Even within a seemingly stable life (a marriage to Ian, a daughter named Willow), Mara finds herself trapped in a cycle of pain, both physical and emotional. A debut novel about memory, resilience, and what it takes to begin again.
A tenacious
spirit.
Growing up, I watched a lot of reruns of I Love Lucy. As a child, I watched the show for pure entertainment, but I had no idea that Lucy's tenacious spirit dwelled in me. My husband lovingly nicknamed me Lucy when we married, for I have a knack for getting myself into precarious situations (like writing a novel while managing dyslexia and ADHD).
I decided to put myself out here in the world because I believe there are others like me who have felt as if they were living their lives in reverse. Exposing my insecurities is a risk worth taking, especially if I'm able to help at least one person move forward.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, overcoming fear is something I encourage homeless veterans to do every day. Over the years I have been honored to work with a diverse group of people who have had to overcome extraordinary circumstances. The resilience of these courageous people has become my blueprint for living my life forward.
I am no longer allowing my disabilities and fears to stifle me, or silence me. Living Life In Reverse is the result.
Beta Readers
wanted.
We Are All Unfinished is still in progress, and I'm looking for a small group of beta readers to read early drafts and share honest reactions. If that sounds like you, reach out.
